About this ClassFollowing the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, students develop four key language areas: speaking, oral comprehension, reading and writing. Our teaching methodology caters to different types of learners and uses a structured and leveled curriculum based on the textbook Totem by Hachette FLE.
In this class, students study French language and culture through literature, role plays, essays, current events magazines and conversation. As they become increasingly independent French speakers, they will also explore francophone culture and people.
With an emphasis on authentic communication, this task-based approach also helps students develop a greater understanding of the grammar and spelling of French. Ultimately, our goal is not only to teach students language skills, but to have them interpret the world from a different perspective.
An online written placement test is required to determine each student's level.
