About this Class
Following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, students develop four key language areas: speaking, oral comprehension, reading and writing. Our teaching methodology caters to different types of learners and uses a structured and leveled curriculum based on the textbook Adosphère by Hachette FLE.
In this class, students evolve from understanding new words and sentences in French through a variety of media to producing them in different contexts through structured role plays. As they become increasingly independent French speakers, they will also explore francophone culture and people.
With an emphasis on authentic communication, this task-based approach also helps students develop an understanding of the grammar and spelling of French. Ultimately, our goal is not only to teach students language skills, but to have them interpret the world from a different perspective.

Focusing on oral comprehension and speaking, children with native or near-native French skills learn through songs, games, movement and role-plays. This course also integrates reading and writing activities with short stories and French literature.Read More
