Where to start in Burgundy?


Find out here! You will discover Dijon, its capital and home of Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin. Be prepared to be amazed by the splendor of its rich cultural and historical heritage. In this class, you will learn about Burgundy, its cuisine, its grands crus and the history of Dijon and its most famous monuments.

Communicative and Linguistic objectives: 
  • Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered. 
  • Deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling virtually to the area. 
  • Produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar and of personal interest. 
  • Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Nathalie was born in Beirut, Lebanon and was educated at a French school in Cotonou, Benin. She holds a Master´s degree in Modern Languages: French, Spanish and English from Université de Bourgogne, Dijon, France. She enjoys teaching and learning new languages and loves traveling to discover different cultures. She is thrilled to promote the French language and culture at the French Cultural Center..
