About this Class
Our core language classes will strengthen your French through speaking, writing and comprehension activities while providing insights into Francophone culture. Our teachers and curriculum use cutting-edge methods and resources to expand your skills and increase your confidence in French. Talk about family stories ; describe close relationships ; tell a story describing past situations, habits and events ; express pleasure and joy ; share a memory or an anecdote, and lament forgotten memories.
Using the passé composé and the imperfect verbal tenses together ; time indicateurs for expressing duration and specific moments ; agreements for using pronominal verbs in the passé composé verbal.
Society, Culture, and Vocabulary
Learn about a Belgian intergenerational meeting site ; a childhood in Cameroon ; French family trees ; and more. Vocabulary: Human beings ; family ; relationships.
Noticing syllabic equality and elongation of the stressed vowel.
