About this Class

Who hasn’t heard of the legend of King Arthur and his knights? It all originated there, in the magnificent Brocéliande Forest, among moors and lakes. The mere mention of this place conjures up a wonderful world populated by the fairy Vivien, Merlin the Wizard, Lancelot and others. Join us for a magical discovery of the tales and legends associated to Brocéliande. 

Communicative and linguistic objectives:
  • Become an expert on Arthurian legends and writing history 
  • Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions; give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans; make usage of appropriate speech verbal tools and introduce notion of nuances
  • Engage in a conversation about linguistics 
  • Develop argumentation skills by hypothesizing on the evolution of languages using the subjunctive and the conditional moods
