About this Class

Students develop four key language areas: speaking, oral comprehension, reading and writing. Our teaching methodology caters to different types of learners.

Our task-based curriculum advances teen's oral and written communication skills at targeted levels of proficiency using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Teens with advanced or native proficiency study French language and culture through literature, role plays, essays, current events magazines and conversation.

With an emphasis on authentic communication, this task-based approach also helps students develop a greater understanding of the grammar and spelling of French. Ultimately, our goal is not only to teach students language skills, but to have them interpret the world from a different perspective.

A Placement Test is required to determine each student's level. This class is intended for students with native or near-native proficiency.
