Bio

Alysse was born in the French-speaking region of Switzerland to a Swiss mother and a Spanish father. After college, she began her French teaching journey, first in Colombia, then Washington DC, and now up in Vermont, where she has taught middle and high schoolers, as well as collegiate courses. She now combines teaching both with Alliance Française in Burlington and Middlebury College, allowing her to share her passion for French with learners at all ages and stages of life. When not in the classroom, she enjoys all the outdoors that Vermont offers with her husband and dog.
