We are continuing our beloved tour en français! After having toured Back Bay and the Boston Public Gardens we will discover French inspiration in Downtown Crossing! We will meet where our last promenade left off: at the Lafayette Mall Monument on the Boston Common, near where Tremont Street and Temple Place intersect. From there, we will thread our way through Boston’s back streets, finding the many traces - some evident and some hidden - of French involvement with Boston’s history. We will end among the oldest remaining buildings of Boston, in front of a modest edifice that once held a (French!) king’s fortune.

Please be ready at the meeting point at 5:20 p.m. so the tour can begin at 5:30 p.m. sharp.
