About Château de Blérancourt

chateau
Unique in France, the Franco-American museum, dedicated to the France and United States relationships, was built on the ruins of a XVII century castle. It was founded in 1924 by Anne Morgan, daughter of the American financier J.P Morgan, who established a humanitarian organization to help rebuild the region, the CARD.

This museum allows to present art collections following 3 great themes: Les Lumières’ ideals which are at the origins of the first alliances between the two nations; the battles in which France and the United States fought side by side; and the Art, starting point of numerous transatlantic exchanges.
